Aaron Brocklehurst

Aaron Brocklehurst ( born June 10, 1985 in Nanaimo, Canada ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who played for the 2012/13 season with the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg in the DEL.

Career

Aaron Brocklehurst is considered offensive and running strong defender with a strong shot from the blue line.

He began his career at the Alberni Valley Bulldogs of the BCHL, a Canadian junior league. In the same league played Brocklehurst also for the Powell River Kings and Victoria Salsa. About the St. Cloud State University in the WCHA his way to the ECHL Florida Everblades team, Victoria Salmon Kings, Gwinnett Gladiators, Reading Royals and the AHL Team Lake Erie Monsters to Europe led him in the Finnish elite league SM- liiga. There Brocklehurst was initially at Rauman Lukko under contract. After his transfer to the Pelicans in 2012, he was Finnish runner. The attack-minded defender, scoring seven goals in 44 games and prepared twelve more matches before. Overall, he came during his two -year stint in Finland in 97 games on 14 goals and 29 assists.

In June 2012, it was announced that Brocklehurst changes in the German Hockey League to the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg, where it is equipped with a one-year contract. In January 2013, the contract was prematurely extended by option by one year to 2014. The Wolfsburgern Brocklehurst is considered one of the best skaters.
