Tyler Haskins
Tyler Haskins ( born May 26, 1986 in Madison, Ohio ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since 2010 in the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg in the German Ice Hockey League contract.
Career
Tyler Haskins started his career as a hockey player with the Sioux City Musketeers, for those in the North American Junior League United States Hockey League, he was active in the 2001/ 02 season, and with whom he went straight to Clark Cup, the championship of the USHL won. Then the Center from 2002 to 2007 played for Guelph Storm, the Toronto St. Michael's Majors and Saginaw Spirit in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2004 in the fifth round as a total 162 players from the Detroit Red Wings, for which, however, he never played. Instead, he ran from 2007 to 2010 for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League on where he was mostly used in the 2007/ 08 season for their farm team Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL.
For the 2010/11 season Haskins was hired by the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, having previously completed a multi -week trial in Wolfsburg. In the Lower Saxony of Americans convinced right away and wore as the fourth most successful players of his team with 39 points scorer, of which eleven goals in 49 games significantly to the achievement of the first table space after the main round at. For this reason his contract was prematurely extended until 2012. The end of 2012 it was announced that the contract was again extended until 2014.
