Alpine skiing at the 1952 Winter Olympics

In the VI. 1952 Olympic Games in Oslo were held six competitions in Alpine skiing. Competition sites were the Norefjell in the community Krødsherad (about 120 km north-west of Oslo ) and the Rødkleiva Hill near the Holmenkollen.

The top three finishers in the downhill, giant slalom and the slalom in addition to the Olympic medals were also world championship medals, as these competitions were also among the 12 Alpine World Ski Championships.

86 riders were at the start, 29 of them reached the goal.

Eliminated include: Georges Schneider ( SUI ), Josef Schwaiger (GER ), Toni Spiss (AUT ). Hans Senger (AUT ), together with Stein Eriksen Leading after the first run and run fastest in the second passage, was disqualified due to an error in the last goal of the course.

The participants of the German Olympic teams from 1952 all came from West Germany. Nevertheless, they are out on the sides of the IOC ( eg ) partly under the symbol GER, partly under the symbol FRG.
