Andy Greene

Andy Greene ( born October 30, 1982 in Trenton, Michigan ) is an American professional ice hockey defender, who currently plays for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.

Career

Greene began his career in 2002 at Miami University, where he was active for the RedHawks Hockey Team in the U.S. College Football Central Collegiate Hockey Association. After he finished his studies in the summer of 2006, he got a contract from the Lowell Devils, a team of American Hockey League, which will act as a farm team of the New Jersey Devils.

Already in his first year with the Lowell Devils, he had the opportunity to play as a substitute for Johnny Oduya and later Colin White at the New Jersey Devils. In 2007 he was offered by the New Jersey Devils a permanent place. Its been personally successful season with the Devils was the 2009/10 season, when the defensive player could achieve 39 scorer points in 83 league games completed.
