Jacob Josefson

Jacob Josefson ( born March 2, 1991, Stockholm ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player standing since 2010 with the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Jacob Josefson began his career at the age of five years at the Göta IK, where his older brothers trained. At the age of ten he moved to Hammarby IF, but remained there only a year and joined the Djurgårdens IF on. There he went through the youth ranks and played from 2005 for the U18 team of the association in the highest U18 league.

In the season 2007/ 08, on 28 February 2008, he debuted in the Elitserien in the game against the Timrå IK, but was otherwise in the U20 team to use. At the end of the season he was used again in the U18 Juniors, with whom he won the Swedish Championship in his age group. From the season 2008/ 09 he was determined to Elitserienkader of the association.

NHL Entry Draft 2009, he was selected in the first round to 20th position by the New Jersey Devils, who provided him for the season 2010/11 with a two-way contract.
