Peter Harrold

Peter Harrold ( born June 8, 1983 in Kirtland Hills, Ohio ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since August 2011 with the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Peter Harrold began his career as a hockey player with the Cleveland Barons, for which he was active from 1999 to 2002 in the North American Hockey League. Then the defender played four years for the Boston College in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. On 12 April 2006 was awarded the links shooter who had never been drafted previously, as a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Kings, for whom he made ​​his debut in the National Hockey League in the 2006/07 season. However, the majority of the playing time he spent as at their farm team, the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, as in the following year. In his first full NHL season Harrold scored in the 2008/ 09 season in 69 games twelve points scorer for the Kings. In August 2011 the defender was obliged as a free agent by the New Jersey Devils.
