Bø is a Norwegian municipality. The municipality is sometimes referred to as the pearl of the Vesterålen and is located in the west of the island Langøya. The center of the municipality is the place Straume with about 280 inhabitants. In the municipality with an area of 247 km ² total of 2659 people live ( as of March 31, 2013).

  • The Man from the Sea - A sculpture in the Artscape Nordland. The sculpture stands on a hill at Vinjesjøen and is a tribute to the sea, from which the people live in the area for centuries.
  • Bird Rock - In the whole county there are a large number of bird cliffs. The most common puffins, guillemots, razorbills and kittiwakes can be observed.
  • Tombs at Fore - In this grave site well-preserved skeletons and grave goods were discovered. The tombs date from the period between 300 AD
