Bang Pakong District

Amphoe Bang Pakong ( in Thai: อำเภอ บางปะกง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the west of the province of Chachoengsao. The Chachoengsao province is located in the eastern region of central Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Ban Pho in Chachoengsao Province, Amphoe Phan Thong and the Mueang Chonburi in Chonburi province, the coast to the Gulf of Thailand, Amphoe Bang Bo of Samut Prakan Province.

The most important river is the Maenam Bang Pakong, which flows into the Gulf of Thailand in the district of Bang Pakong. History
