Belvedere di Spinello

Belvedere di Spinello is an Italian town in the province of Crotone in Calabria with 2315 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Location and data

Belvedere di Spinello located 33 km north- west of Crotone on foothills of the Sila Mountains. The districts are Belvedere and Spinello. The neighboring municipalities are Casabona, Castelsilano, Rocca di Neto and Santa Severina.

The place is dominated by agriculture. Produces olive oil, grain and feed.

History

The town was founded in the 15th century. 1863 was the place its present name.
