Carfizzi
Carfizzi is an Italian town in the province of Crotone in Calabria with 707 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012).
Location and data
Carfizzi located 44 km north- west of Crotone on foothills of the Sila Mountains. Carfizzi are thus the smallest municipality in the province of Crotone. The neighboring municipalities are Ciro, Melissa, Pallagorio, San Nicola and the Alto Umbriatico.
The place is dominated by agriculture. Produces olive oil, grain and feed.
History
The town was founded in the 15th century by refugees Albanians.
