Buti

Buti is a municipality of the Province of Pisa in the Tuscany region of Italy with 5810 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Geography

The village of Buti is located about 30 km east of Pisa and 60 km west of Florence, in a valley on the eastern slopes of Mount Pisano in the climatic classification of Italian communities in the zone D, GG 1674.

It consists of the districts Buti ( main town, about 2100 inhabitants) and Le Cascine Croce (21 meters altitude, about 3000 inhabitants).

The neighboring municipalities are Bientina, Calci, Cpannori ( LU) and Vicopisano.

History and Economics
