The Cadillac Series 65 was a 1937/38, offered by the U.S. carmaker Cadillac model.

Model history

In model year 1937, the Cadillac range was divided into the types of Series 60, 65, 70 and 75 with a V8, the V12 Series 85 and Series 90 with the V16 engine.

New come into the program was being moved between 60 and 70 Series 65 It was a sedan with a special body with three side windows that produced the longer wheelbase Series 70 ( 332.7 cm) with a cheaper, Fisher Bodies body association ( the bodies of the Series 70 came, however, from Fleetwood ). Was driven by the 65 a 5.7 - liter V8 with side valves and 135 hp. Priced ranked the $ 65,400 over the 60 sedan, but also $ 500 under the 70 Touring Sedan with Fleetwood body.

1938, a better -equipped 65 Imperial Sedan and a four-door convertible came in addition to the program.

With the Model 1939 was built the 65, after a total of 3877 specimens, taken again from the offer.
