Canicattini Bagni is 20 km west of Syracuse. The inhabitants live mainly from agriculture and mining of sandstone.

The neighboring municipalities are Floridia, Noto, Palazzolo Acreide, Syracuse and Solarino.

History

The community was founded in 1678. After the 1693 earthquake, the congregation grew, as residents settled from neighboring communities here.
