Rosolini is a city of Syracuse in Sicily region of Italy with 21,479 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012).

Rosolini located 50 km south-west of Syracuse. The inhabitants work mainly in agriculture, animal husbandry and in the industry.
Rosolini lies on the railway line Caltanissetta Gela - Syracuse.
The neighboring municipalities are Sampieri (RG), Modica (RG), Noto and Ragusa ( RG).
History
The place was already in Roman and Byzantine times. 1713 the place at its present location was newly established.
