Canton of Ardres

The Canton Ardres is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Saint- Omer in the Pas -de- Calais and in the Nord -Pas -de- Calais; its chief town is Ardres. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2011 Ludovic Loquet.

The Canton Ardres is 18,033 acres ( 180.33 km ²) in size and has (1999) 17,610 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 98 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 42 meters above sea level, between 0 and 196 meters in Éperlecques meters in Rebergues.
