Canton of Berck

The Canton of Berck is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Montreuil, in the Pas -de- Calais and in the Nord -Pas -de- Calais; its chief town is Berck. Representatives of the General Council of the départements since 2011 Bruno Cousein.

Geography

The Canton of Berck is 9,254 hectares ( 92.54 km ²) in size and has 24,841 inhabitants (as of 2006), which corresponds to a population density of around 268 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 10 meters above sea level, between 0 meters and 57 meters in Berck in Conchil -le-Temple.
