Canton of Norrent-Fontes

The Canton Norrent - Fontes is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Béthune, in Pas- de -Calais and in the Nord -Pas -de- Calais; its chief town is Norrent - Fontes. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2008, Jacques Napieraj (PS).

Geography

The Canton Norrent - Fontes is 9,098 hectares ( 90.98 km ²) in size and has 19,387 inhabitants (as of 1999), which corresponds to a population density of around 213 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 53 meters above sea level, between 16 meters and 132 meters in Isbergues in Ligny- lès -Aire.
