Canton of Cambrin

The Canton Cambrin is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Béthune, in Pas- de -Calais and in the Nord -Pas -de- Calais; its chief town is Cambrin. Representative of the General Council of the department since 2004 Odette Duriez.

The Canton Cambrin is 5288 hectares ( 52.88 km ²) in size and has (1999) 19,269 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 364 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 25 meters above sea level, between 16 meters and 50 meters in Richebourg in Vermelles.
