Canton of Fruges

The Canton Fruges is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Montreuil, in the Pas -de- Calais and in the Nord -Pas -de- Calais; its chief town is Fruges. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2001, Jean -Marie Lubret.

Geography

The Canton Fruges is 18,904 acres ( 189.04 km ²) in size and has 7,407 inhabitants (as of 2006), which corresponds to a population density of around 39 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 103 meters above sea level, between 35 meters and 197 meters in Lebiez in Rimboval.
