Canton of Hucqueliers

The Canton Hucqueliers is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Montreuil, in the Pas -de- Calais and in the Nord -Pas -de- Calais; its chief town is Hucqueliers. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2001, Jean Wallon.

Geography

The Canton Hucqueliers is 23 171 hectares ( 231.71 km ²) in size and has 7,258 inhabitants (as of 2006), which corresponds to a population density of about 31 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 97 meters above sea level, between 26 meters and 202 meters in Alette in Bécourt.
