Canton of Desvres

The Canton Desvres is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Boulogne -sur -Mer, in the Pas -de- Calais and in the Nord -Pas -de -Calais. Its main town is Desvres. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2004 Claude Prudhomme.

Geography

The Canton Desvres is 17,331 acres ( 173.31 km ²) in size and has 14,164 inhabitants (as of 1999), which corresponds to a population density of around 82 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 91 meters above sea level, between 22 meters and 211 meters in Wirwignes in Lottinghen.
