The coat of arms of the Republic of Cuba was introduced on April 24, 1906.
Description
The gilt-framed coat of arms is cleaved under the divided main shield. It consists of the following elements:
The coat of arms is accompanied by an olive branch heraldic left and a branch of oak right, symbols of victory and strength.
The coat of arms is attached to a bundle of rods on which a red Phrygian cap sits, symbols of the Republic. The cap bears a single golden star as a symbol of a single and indivisible nation.
