Danish Football Player of the Year
The Footballer of the Year in Denmark is elected since 1963 under the leadership of the Danish players' union of the Danish players. Since 2006 there is also an award by the TV channel TV2 and the Danish Football Association award.
Jens Petersen in 1963 was the first Danish player who was excellent. 1975 has been honored for the second time with the award, after he was awarded in 1968 for the first time the title with Henning Munk Jensen the first player.
Record title holder is Brian Laudrup with four awards as an outstanding Danish players. Brøndby IF is the club with the most excellent player: A total of eight times the award was given to an actor who stood in the title award in the squad of the club.
