Davie is a town in Broward County in the U.S. state of Florida with 91 992 inhabitants ( 2010). The metropolitan area has a size of 88.5 km ².

Geography

Davie is located about 30 km north of Miami. Adjacent municipalities clockwise starting in the north are: Sunrise, Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, Dania Beach, Hollywood, Cooper City, Southwest Ranches, Pembroke Pines and Weston.

History

On August 27, 2005 Davie was devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Religion
