Hillsboro Pines is a census -designated place (CDP ) in Broward County in the U.S. state of Florida with 446 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Geography

Hillsboro Pines is located 14 km north of Fort Lauderdale and is bordered by the cities of Parkland and Coconut Creek ( Broward ) and the CDP Sandalfoot Cove ( Palm Beach).

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 446 inhabitants distributed in 153 households. The population density was 743.3 inh. / Km ². 93.9 % of the population were white, 5.2% African American, 0.0% Native American and 0.4 % Asian Americans. 0.4 % were members of other ethnic groups and 0.0% in different ethnic groups. 10.3% of the population were Hispanic or Latino.

In 2010, children under the age of 18 and 21.5 % of all households lived in 43.6 % of all households with persons at least 65 years. 76.5 % of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring ). The average size of a household was 2.99 and the average family size is 3.44 people.
