Dobrá Voda u Pacova

Dobra Voda u Pacova ( German Gutwasser ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers northeast of Černovice and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Dobra Voda u Pacova is located in the southern part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The village is situated on the northern slope of the Jalový vrch ( 674 m) in the source trough a left tributary to the river Novodvorsky creek. To the east of the Peklo ( 649 m) in the southwest of Vrchy (715 m) and Svidník collected ( 739 m). North West is the former military airfield Kámen. East of the village stems from the Novodvorsky creek.

Neighboring towns are Kámen and Nizka Lhota in the north, Vysoká Lhota in the northeast, Peklůvko, Moraveč, Na Peklově and Žlíbek in the east, Lidmaňka the southeast, Lidmaň, Tvrziny and Lhotka in the south, Svatava, Vacek'a and Černovice the southwest, Vintířov and Brná in the West and Věžná in the northwest.

History

Dobra Voda was probably founded before 1300. The first documentary evidence of belonging to the castle rule Kámen village took place in 1318. Owners were among others Messrs. brick home, Malovci Pacov and Kressl of Qualtenberg.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dobra Voda / Gutwasser formed in 1850 a district of the municipality Vysoká Lhota - Zlatenka in the District Commission Pelhřimov. Dobra Voda 1868 broke off and formed its own community. 1905, a school house was built. Between 1947 and 1960, Dobra Voda belonged to Okres Pacov and came back after his suspension for Okres Pelhřimov. Since 1961, the city leads the official auxiliary u Pacova to distinguish it from the side of the same district village of Dobra Voda in the name. In 1976, the annexation to Kámen. In 1990, the municipality of Dobra Voda u Pacova arose again.

The building of the former school now serves as the seat of the municipal administration.

Attractions

• Chapel of the Holy Trinity in the village square, which in 1885 erected in place of a wooden bell tower building has a bell from 1776. During 2002, the roof was re-covered and put a new copper cross with a Gedenkirkunde and coins in the tower ball. At the annual Trinity pilgrimage a service is held in the chapel.
• Memorial to the victims of the First World War, under the lime trees at the chapel, built in 1930
