Dueville

Dueville is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 13,955 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Vicenza in the Veneto region. The municipality is situated approximately 12 kilometers north of Vicenza on Astico.

The name probably comes from the union of two villages. The district Passo di Riva indicated in name back to ford of Astico.

Traffic

Dueville is conveniently located on the Autostrada A31, which leads directly to the center of Vicenza and the Autostrada Torino- Trieste. The Dueville station is located on the non-electrified railway line Vicenza - Schio.
