East Hemet is a census -designated place (CDP ) in Riverside County in the U.S. state of California. In 2010, the city had 17,418 inhabitants. It is located outside the city limits of Hemet.

Geography

East Hemet is located in western Riverside County in the U.S. state of California. The municipality is bordered to the west and north of Hemet, on the northeast by Valle Vista and otherwise only to unincorporated. A piece southwest lies the Diamond Valley Lake Reservoir.
