Canyon Lake is a city and gated community in Riverside County in the U.S. state of California with 10,561 inhabitants ( 2010) and a size of 12.099 km ². The place is one of five gated communities in California and is considered wealthy.

Geography

History

In 1882, the California Southern Railroad built on the east side of the San Jacinto River, a railroad from Lake Elsinore after Perris.
