Geographical location

Eußenheim is located on the Wern, in the Würzburg region, Landkreis Main -Spessart, in the " Franconian wine country."

History

In the 3rd and 4th centuries the Germanic tribes of the Alemanni and Thuringian inhabited the area around present-day Eußenheim. They were eventually defeated by the Franks, coming later advancing from the Rhine and Moselle area in the middle Main landing. They took also the valley of the river Wern. In the year 531 the Franks had annexed the kingdom of Thuringia and thus this area in their polity. Then began the first Frankish settlement wave. The Franks moved to closed organizations into the country, the leader at the head. After the decline of viticulture in the 19th century it came to the land consolidation in 1972 back to a boom ( vineyard Eußenheimer First ).

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in manufacturing and 128 in trade and transport, no social insurance contributions at the workplace.
