Football at the 1936 Summer Olympics

1932 did not belong to the football program of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, because it was difficult to determine who was an amateur and professional due to the increasing professionalization of football. * After 4-2 Peruvian fans stormed the court. Austria protested then against the result, citing the square tower which is supposed to have, according to the Austrians already taken place with the score at 2-2. The protest was upheld and arranged a replay, but also it did not come as Peru withdrew all Olympians in protest. Austria thus reached the semi-finals without a fight.
