Georges Passerieu

Georges Passerieu ( born November 18, 1885 in London, † May 5, 1928 in Peray ) was a French cyclist. Passerieu was in 1905, the French National Amateur Championship decide for themselves. Then he received a professional contract in 1906 in a sponsored car manufacturer Peugeot team and won in the following years, a total of seven stages at the Tour de France. In the overall classification, he finished in three consecutive years, the second to fourth. In 1908 it succeeded Passerieu as the only driver to increase the Ballon d'Alsace to climb without getting off the bike.
