Giro di Toscana

The Giro della Toscana (formerly part: Giro di Toscana ) ( Engl. Tuscany Tour ) is an Italian bicycle race.

The Giro della Toscana is a one-day race, which was held for the first time in 1923. The race takes place every year in late September in the Italian region of Tuscany instead. By 2010, the race was held in late April or early May. Since 2005, one of the race for the UCI Europe Tour and is classified in category 1.1. Record winner was the Italian Gino Bartali with five wins, followed by Francesco Moser with four hits. From Germany Rudi Altig won the race in 1966, only Swiss was previously Josef Fuchs 1972.
