Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental

Hinoba -an is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Negros Occidental on the island of Negros in the Philippines. It has 54 624 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 15 barangays. It belongs to the first class of income communities in the Philippines and is described as a partially urbanized.

It is located about 199 kilometers south of Bacolod City. The travel time is about 4 hours by bus, by car about 3 hours. Your neighboring municipalities are Sipalay City and Candoni in the north, Ilog and Basay in the east. The coast of the Sulu Sea, marked its southern and western border. The topography of the municipality is described in the West as hilly to mountainous.
