San Carlos, Negros Occidental

The City of San Carlos is located on the island of Negros, in the province of Negros Occidental. It is a city of the second income class in the Philippines. The city was originally known as settlement " Nabingkalan " and was renamed in 1856 in San Carlos. In 1 June 1960, she received a city charter, the basis for this was the Republic Act 2643rd

The City of San Carlos is located on the east coast of the island of Negros. The Tanon Strait forms the eastern Granze the urban area, which includes 451.5 km ².
