Salvador Benedicto is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Negros Occidental on the island of Negros in the Philippines. The community is regionally known under the name of Don Salvador Benedicto. It has 23,624 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in seven barangays. It belongs to the fourth income class municipalities in the Philippines and is described as a partially urbanized.

It is located about 42 km east of Bacolod City. The journey time is about 1 hours by bus, by car about 45 minutes. Your neighboring municipalities are Murcia to the west, Calatrava limits the municipality in the east and San Carlos City is located in the south.
