Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental

Moises Padilla is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Negros Occidental on the island of Negros in the Philippines. It has 39 257 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 15 barangays. It belongs to the fourth income class municipalities in the Philippines and is described as a partially urbanized.

It is located about 85 km southeast of Bacolod City. The journey takes about two hours by bus or jeepney. Your neighboring communities are La Castellana in the north, Guihulngan City in the province of Negros Oriental in the east, the municipality of Isabela forms the southern boundary. The topography of the parish is described as mountainous, it is in the mountains of the island of Negros to the south of the volcano Kanlaon.

The Old Municipal Building is a historic building of the church. The Kaitulari Eco -tourism zone is located on the territory of the municipality and offers tourists the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the nature of the island.
