Manapla, Negros Occidental

Manapla is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Negros Occidental on the island of Negros in the Philippines. It has 52 687 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 12 barangays. It belongs to the second class of income communities in the Philippines and is described as a partially urbanized.

It is located about 45 km northeast of Bacolod City. The journey time is about 1 hours by bus, by car about 55 minutes. Your northern border is the Guimaras Strait to Negros from the island of Panay separates. Cadiz City limits the municipality to the east and Victorias City is located in the west. The topography of the parish is described as hilly plains.
