Kaharlyk
Kaharlyk (Ukrainian Кагарлик; Russian Кагарлык / Kagarlyk ) is a town in Ukraine's Kiev Oblast with 13,700 inhabitants ( 2012).
The first mention of the city in 1142. Received the status of a city Kaharlyk on August 3, 1971.
Kaharlyk is the administrative headquarters of Rajon Kaharlyk and lies on the banks of Rossawa ( Росава ), a 90 km long tributary of the Ros. The capital of Kiev is located 78 kilometers north of the city.
