Kulm bei Weiz until the end of 2014 a municipality with 490 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in Styria. As part of the municipality of structural reform in Styria it is merged in 2015 with the communities Pischeldorf and rich village, the new community will be called market town Pischeldorf at Kulm. This is based on the Styrian community structure reform law - StGsrG.

Geography

Kulm bei Weiz is located in the district of Weiz in the Austrian province of Styria. The municipality is located on the south side of the 975 m high Kulms.

Community structure

The municipality comprises the two villages (in brackets population as of 31 October 2011):

  • Kulming (125 )
  • Rohrbach am Kulm ( 358)

The municipality comprises the cadastral Kulming and Rohrbach.

Policy

Mayor Brigitta Schwarzenberger (ÖVP ). The council is made up after the elections of 2010 are as follows: 6 ÖVP, SPÖ 3

Coat of arms

The Styrian government has awarded by order of 23 September 1996, the right to bear a coat of arms municipality. This shows the Kulm in silver on blue background. In the foreground 5 silver reeds are depicted with red piston, in reference to the " Rohrbach " the town of the same name.
