Mies bei Birkfeld located in the district of Weiz in the Austrian province of Styria.

The municipality comprises the cadastral Weiglhof.

The highest point of the municipality is the wild meadow with 1256 yards.

Coat of arms

The award of the municipality coat of arms was made with effect from 1 July 1977. Coat Description: In the lowered divided by a wavy line from green to silver plate above a silver zweigiebeliger yard, covered with a hipped roof, the gables, each with two rectangular windows and connected to a crenellated archway; below three ( 2:1 ) to the right introverted red plowshares.

Mies Bach is one of the venues for the annual Inter Musica.
