KulturPur

KulturPur on the Ginsberger Heide ( Giller ) in the district of Siegen -Wittgenstein is an international music and theater festival. Geographically, the Ginsberger Heath is part of the district due to the city Hilchenbach, a possibility Directions by car is only about Hilchenbach- Luetzel. During the festival go from all the cities and towns of the district special buses on the Giller and back.

KulturPur is one of the largest tent festivals in Europe, is organized every year since 1991 at Pentecost of the district of Siegen -Wittgenstein, the towns of Siegen, Kreuztal and Hilchenbach, the Busch Brothers circuit and IG Metall victories. The multi-day program in and around the white Italian theater tents consists of a mix of music, theater and walking acts. The largest of the tents can hold up to 2,500 people. Director of the festival is Wolfgang Suttner.
