Lac de l'Hongrin
Two arch dams side by side
The Lake Hongrin is located in the Canton of Vaud in the communities of Château d'Oex and Ormont -Dessous. Processed, the water is in the power plant Veytaux and then flows into Lake Geneva.
You can reach the reservoir from the east over La Presentation, from southwest over Corbeyrier or from the north via Montbovon.
The area around the Lake Hongrin is a military shooting range so that on weekdays the access is often restricted or not possible.
