London Borough of Lambeth
The London Borough of Lambeth [ læmbəθ ] is a city district of London. It lies immediately south of the city center in the "knee" of the Thames, at the eastern shore opposite the City of Westminster. With the establishment of the administrative region of Greater London in 1965, he emerged from the Metropolitan Borough of Lambeth and the districts of Clapham and Streatham in the Metropolitan Borough of Wandsworth.
The population continued in 2008, composed of 67.3 % White, 5.6 % Asian, 19.8% black and 1.3 % Chinese.

In Herne Hill is one of the oldest and most traditional cycle-racing tracks of the UK. There, in 1948, the track cycling competitions of the Olympic Games were held.
