The Losail International Circuit is a motorsport race track outside of Doha in Qatar.

The runway is located on the east coast of the country, 20 kilometers north of Doha, in the middle of the desert and is 5380 meters long. It was opened in 2004 and cost the equivalent of about 50 million euros. The circuit is homologated by both the FIA and by the FIM and is considered very fashionable to its facilities include 40 boxes garages, a modern press center with 200 journalists courts and a route Hospital. Outside the racing events, the slope can also be rented from private individuals.

Since 2004, the Grand Prix of Qatar on the world motorcycle championship and a Superbike World Championship race will be held here annually. The audience response at the races is rather low, so the route to Motorcycle World Championship races regularly counts less than 10,000 visitors during the race weekend.

For season opener of the Motorcycle World Championship 2008 took place here on March 9, the first night race held in the history of the motorcycle world championship. 2009, the Grand Prix was marked by bad weather conditions. Since by the artificial illumination of the route dangerous light reflections occur in wet runway conditions, a discharge of the runs was excluded in the rain from the outset. The race of the 125cc class had to be canceled after only four laps because it started to rain and was not restarted. The 250 cc race was shortened from 20 provided on 13 laps, while for midnight ( local time ) scheduled race of the MotoGP class due to heavy rain and storm could not even be started and was delayed for a day on the following Monday.
