Sight
The local chapel was mentioned in 1382 in records as belonging to the diocese of Hildesheim. At that time, noblemen of Homburg founded a Vikarie in the chapel and endowed this, inter alia, with a courtyard in Scharfoldendorf. Architecturally, it is rare in this region design of a choir chapel tower. The keystone in the tower has the lion of the noble lords of Homburg on the stonework.
