Lugagnano Val d'Arda

Lugagnano Val d' Arda is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4121 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Piacenza in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 27.5 kilometers southeast of Piacenza at the Arda and is part of the Comunità Montana Valli del Nure e dell'Arda.

History

In the municipality there was the ancient settlement Velleia that lies a few kilometers southeast of the present village center.
