Mark Cullen (ice hockey)
Mark Cullen ( born October 28, 1978 in Virginia, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is under contract with EC Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Hockey League highest since December 2012.
Career
Mark Cullen began his career as a hockey player with the Fargo - Moorhead Ice Sharks, for which he was active in the Junior League United States Hockey League in the 1997/98 season. There he was elected to the All- Rookie team and the Rookie of the Year. Then he attended for four years, the Colorado College, for his hockey team, he played in parallel in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. During his college years he also received several individual awards. In April 2002, the Center signed a contract as a free agent with the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League, however, came in the next three years solely for their farm team Houston Aeros in the American Hockey League action, with which he in the season 2002 / 03 Calder Cup won. In the following years he was ever a year in the AHL for the Grand Rapids Griffins, Manitoba Moose, Rockford IceHogs, Rochester Americans and San Antonio Rampage on the ice. During his time with the Rampage he came in the 2011/12 season also again to six inserts for their cooperation partners Florida Panthers in the NHL.
