Maxim Rybin

Maxim Rybin Vyacheslavovich (Russian Максим Вячеславович Рыбин; born June 15, 1981 in Moscow, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who plays since November 2013 in Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the Kontinental Hockey League.

Career

Maxim Rybin began his career in the hockey school of HK Spartak Moscow and made his debut in 1996 in the second team of the clubs that participated in the third-class Perwaja league. In the same season, he also came to six inserts in the first team of Spartak in the Super League. Until 1999, he played for his hometown club and established himself at this time within the first team. In the 1998/99 season he scored a total of 27 points scorer in 53 games this season for Spartak, so that he was appointed to the All- Rookie team in the Super League. He was then selected during the next NHL Entry Draft in 1999 by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the fifth round at the 141st place.

From the 1999/2000 season, the striker played for the Sarnia Sting in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League. In the summer of 2000 he took part in the training camp of the Ducks, but received no place in the NHL squad of franchises. Despite some offers from Russian clubs Rybin remained another year in the OHL, where he was the second best scorer and the top scorer of the Sting. In the summer of 2001 he was engaged by Salavat Yulaev Ufa for one season, after which he joined Severstal Cherepovets.

About his training club Spartak striker HK Avangard Omsk came to, with whom he was in season 2005/ 06 Russian runner-up, after his team had lost the playoff final 0-3 to Ak Bars Kazan. After twelve games the following season, he moved to Metallurg Novokuznetsk before he again returned to his hometown club in 2007.

When SKA St. Petersburg of the Russian is since July 2009, under contract, after he left Spartak due to a salary reduction of 20 percent. In May 2011, Rybin received a contract extension for three years, which tied him up in 2014 at the SKA. In the summer of 2013 this agreement was dissolved and joined together with Maxim Afinogenov Rybin to HK Vityaz. When HK Vityaz, he was first team captain, but was the beginning of November 2013 and moved to dismiss Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

Internationally

Maxim Rybin represented his home country Russia at the U18 Junior World Championship 1999, where he collected three points scorer in seven tournament games and finished sixth with the U18 National Team. As a result, he initially got no appeal to a Russian national team more. Only for the Euro Hockey Tour 2008/ 09 he was nominated and participated in the LG Hockey Games 2009, where he was appointed to the All- Star team. Rybin also graduated at the Sweeps 2009/10 and 2010/11 Euro Hockey Tour in each case some games and was re- appointed at the LG Hockey Games 2011 in the All- Star team and awarded as the best striker.
