Modruš-Rijeka County

County Modruš - Rijeka [ mɔdruʃ rijɛka ] ( Vármegye Hungarian Modrus - Fiume, Croatian Modruško - Riječka županija ) was a historic administrative unit ( county, or county) in the Kingdom of Croatia and Slavonia (Hungarian Horvát - Szlavónország ), an autonomous kingdom under the crown of St. Stephen within the Habsburg Monarchy. It was managed by a Croatian Ban ( viceroy ).
